Our Mission
FRCA exists to strengthen and equip chaplains while providing trusted spiritual care and compassionate support to first responders, their families, and the communities they serve.
Who We Are
First Responders Chaplain Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by donations and dedicated to strengthening chaplaincy ministry. We were established to train, certify, equip, and support chaplains as they serve first responders, families, agencies, churches, and communities.
FRCA provides a professional community where chaplains can receive ministry support, practical resources, continuing education, and opportunities for development. As resources allow, we help provide Bibles, gospel tracts, ministry materials, and other assistance that helps chaplains serve effectively in the field.
Our Standards
FRCA chaplains are expected to maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professional conduct. Continuing education is required to help members remain prepared for the changing demands of chaplaincy service. Members are also expected to adhere to the FRCA Chaplain Code of Ethics and applicable organizational policies.
To protect the integrity of the Association and the communities we serve, membership and credentialing may include initial and periodic background screening, credential verification, and review of a chaplain’s standing and compliance with FRCA standards.
